Which is why we celebrated over some Stone Brewing IPAs when we heard that our team was awarded Gold at the Medical Marketing & Media (MM&M) Awards. The MM&M Awards have been spotlighting outstanding efforts in the healthcare marketing and communications fields for over 14 years, and we’re beyond excited to be honored with Gold in the category of Branded Website for Healthcare Professionals for our work on

Working alongside our friends at Heartbeat Interactive and Abelson Taylor, we crafted a creative design with a purpose— to urge healthcare professionals to prescribe Nuedexta for patients suffering from pseudobulbar affect (PBA). We collaborated with Heartbeat and Avanir Pharmaceuticals, blending an intuitive, highly responsive UI with an insightful UX to create a cohesive multichannel experience.

The panel of over 100 judges, made up of thought leaders in the healthcare marketing community, had a long list they loved about, not the least of which was the “integration of content and tech strategy.”  They praised the effects of the upgrade, citing a 25% increase in site traffic and a higher engagement rate overall.

Motionstrand CEO, Stefan Jensen, who attended the award ceremony at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City, explained that “by refining the overall digital strategy and crafting a responsive, focused experience, we elevated the new campaign materials and created an optimized platform as a central component of a multichannel marketing campaign.” When asked about Motionstrand’s big win, Stefan stated he was “proud of all we have accomplished,” and thanked the Motionstrand team for “all of their hard work.”
