THE POSITION

The Director, Digital Marketing will oversee, coordinate, and participate in the development of marketing strategies and products for the organization. This is a key role leading and supporting the delivery of sophisticated digital marketing solutions and programs. This role serves as a marketing planner, developing and communicating strategies, as well as a hands-on individual contributor, working directly with clients and the Motionstrand team to develop and execute sophisticated campaigns and programs.

This role requires broad, multi-channel internet marketing experience, to include but not limited to channel strategy, data analysis, optimization tactics, campaign development, and media.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, plan, and implement the overall digital marketing strategy
  • Create and drive online marketing strategy for multiple clients and prospects as across-functional digital marketing strategist
  • Define and guide client to deliverables aligned with business goals
  • Set and administer an annual marketing budget
  • Demonstrate a high level of business and marketing acumen with strong ability tocommunicate visually and verbally
  • Work closely with the Sales team to attend and participate in sales efforts, be prospectfacing
  • Collaborates with Senior Leadership to develop growth plans
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to grow digital services within the Motionstrandaccount base
  • Work in a collaborative, cross-functional approach with clients and agency client teams
  • Communicate plans and results to clients via onsite and offsite presentations
  • Own client success as a senior-level representative of Motionstrand
  • Oversee the daily workflow of the department
  • Manage a small team of outsourced vendor relationships and oversee deliverables
  • Act as internal thought leader and subject matter expert for digital at Motionstrand
  • Coordinate reporting among agency partners to present actionable insights to clients
  • Monitor digital performance, investigating any anomalies and communicating quicklywith client and agency partners
  • Create and maintain a successful brand and image that attracts customers to the product orservice
  • Track SEO and Google Analytics data
  • QA testing ongoing to ensure applications are reporting accurate data
  • A/B testing

Qualifications: Education & Experience

  • 5+ years of marketing experience in an agency or client marketing role
  • Industry experience and knowledge of pharma / healthcare and regulatory standards
  • A proven track record of building a team and digital marketing service offerings
  • Extensive experience delivering digital marketing strategies and solutions
  • Working knowledge of Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Superior communication and presentation skills
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing marketing database, email,SEO/SEM, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Experience in optimizing digital environments, user paths strategy, user funnels and digital best practices
  • Proven capability to calmly manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to manage entirety of project scope while remaining aware of details
