What We are Looking for

Motionstrand is looking for a Content Marketing Manager to manage client’s social media accounts by implementing strategies and tactics to grow followers, engage and retain them. You should have command of best practices and trends in social media marketing, enjoy being creative, and understand how to both build and convert a digital audience.



  • Act as a client-facing consultant on strategy and content for all social media clients.
  • Accountable for all content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, leads, that deliver sales and customer retention.
  • Build and manage the client’s social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and additional channels that may be deemed relevant.
  • Create shareable content appropriate for specific networks to spread both the client’s brand and their content.
  • Lead strategy and execution for all Motionstrand social profiles.
  • Develop and maintain Motionstrand’s voice for all public content.
  • Monitor and engage in relevant social discussions.
  • Run regular social promotions and campaigns and track their success.
  • Work alongside other marketers and team members to help distribute content that supports marketing goals.
  • Blog on an ongoing basis to support and promote products, services or offers and to attract site visitors through search, social media, and email subscribers.
  • Works with clients or internal departments to develop content that is written in an interesting and appealing manner.
  • Sources images and artwork for content.
  • Finds and implements new social strategies, tools and tactics as they develop.
  • Track, measure, and analyze all initiatives to report on social media ROI.


Qualifications: Education & Experience

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Active and well-rounded personal presence in social media, with a command of each network and their best practices.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to adopt the style, tone, and voice of our business' various types of content.
  • Proficiency in using social media software to monitor social media conversations.
  • Bonus experience and skills include Adobe Creative Suite, Drupal, inbound marketing, and blogging.    
  • Excellent organizational skills to work independently and manage projects with many moving parts.
  • 2-3 years of marketing and content creation experience.
  • Must have at least a mid-level understanding of Google Analytics.

  • Ability to work diligently within a team environment
