CKS Hotels, of Ft. Smith, Arkansas, opened the first US aloft Hotel in Rogers, Arkansas in summer of 2008. CKS management envisioned utilizing, leading edge, interactive display technology to provide guests with hotel and visitor information while simultaneously creating a unique and memorable experience that complements the aloft brand.

A touchscreen application was developed in accordance with the aloft brand providing hotel guests with a way to learn about the hotel and local information via an interactive user interface. With all data controlled through a content management system, hotel operators can easily update and add/remove content as needed.

Hotel restaurant menus, events, local restaurant/shopping map directory with option to text directions to mobile phones, local airport flight status, and weather forecasts are just some of the features designed for the project.
